OUR MISSION
We believe that God has placed a unique call on the people of Oak Grove Baptist Church, which is:
Leading our neighbors to know and be changed by Jesus.
We exist to bring glory to God by making disciples of our neighbors, whether they are the person in the house next door or in a country on the other side of the world. God is the Creator of all things, thus making Him alone worthy of worship. Thus, we glorify Him by sharing the Gospel and making disciples.

Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness. (Psalm 29:2)
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. (Matthew 28:19-20)
Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” (Matthew 9:37-38)
OUR VALUES
There is nothing that we can do apart from the saving work of Christ that transforms us from lost to found, death to life, and unworthy to transformed. Oak Grove desires to reach people the Gospel and see lives changed because of Christ - which is found in the transformed lives of the people within our church.
TRANSFORMED LIVES
Because we have been transformed, Oak Grove will be intentional in spreading the Good News of Jesus to all who will hear. There is a lost world around us, beginning with our local neighborhoods and reaching to the ends of the earth, and it is the responsibility of all Christians, and of Oak Grove, to be intentional in sharing the Gospel.
INTENTIONAL LIVES
Oak Grove Baptist Church is an autonomous body of believers that desires to connect and disciple people. This includes intentional, defined church membership. It means worshipping with our church family on a regular basis. It allows for fellowships and consistent opportunities to hang out together. It calls for connecting with those outside the church walls.
CONNECTED LIVES
The value of multiplied lives relies on intentional believers who make it their life’s mission to share the Gospel in order that God can use them to see people added to the Church. This is not just locally within the congregation of Oak Grove but also around the world as people come to know the Lord.
