Dr. Brady Lock

Brady has served as the Pastor at Oak Grove since August of 2021. He is married to Logan, and together they have 3 fun-loving kids: Landry Kate, Briggs, and Sutton. Brady loves sports, hunting, fishing, and generally anything outside. He and Logan are so excited to be in and call Burleson home. Brady graduated from Hardin-Simmons University (BBS), Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDIV), and Southwestern again with his Doctorate of Educational Ministry.

LEAD PASTOR

Ricky Johnson

Ricky has served as the Worship Minister at Oak Grove since June 2022. He has been married to Katy since March 2010, and together they have 6 kids: Jordan, Miah, Liam, Emilee, Raelynn, and Trey. Ricky received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Texas in Music, with an emphasis in piano, music theory, and jazz studies. He went on to study at Dallas Baptist University and received a Masters of Worship Leadership and is currently working toward his PhD in Worship Studies. Ricky also serves as the Artist in Residence at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where he leads and teaches the SWBTS and TBC Worship Bands.

WORSHIP MINISTER

Clint Ables

Clint has served as the Youth Minister at Oak Grove since February of 2022. Clint is a MDIV student at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is excited to be at Oak Grove and for the days ahead for Oak Grove Students. Clint is married to Mariah Ables, and they have a dog that she treats like her child.

STUDENT MINISTER

Christine Anderson

Christine has served as the Children’s Director at Oak Grove since 2019. She is married to Kyle, and they have 3 kids: Abby, Ethan and Chloe. Christine graduated from Howard Payne University and also serves as a nurse. Christine considers it a joy to minister to the kids at Oak Grove.

CHILDREN’S DIRECTOR

Gina began as the Administrative Ministry Assistant in January of 2022. Gina grew up in Burleson and has called Oak Grove home for the last 15 years. She loves to serve the church and is so excited to be in this role. Gina is married to Shawn, and they have 3 children and 2 grandchildren.

Paula Manning

Paula Manning has served at Oak Grove as the Youth Associate since 2018. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and works full time at Tarrant County College in Disability Services. Paula has worked with youth and college students for 15 years. Paula is trilingual in English, Spanish, and Sign Language. Paula loves to craft and spend time with her nephews

Billy Manning

Billy has served as the Missions Director since May of 2022. He has been a member of Oak Grove for 4 years. He has previously served as a bivocational, bilingual pastor in Fort Worth. He is married to Irma and together, they have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. They are excited about what God is doing and how He is using Oak Grove to spread the gospel to the ends of the earth

MISSIONS DIRECTOR

Shawn Turner

Shawn has served Oak Grove for 20 years in the Worship and AV ministry. He brings innovation and joy to the tech ministry. Shawn is married to Gina who also serves at Oak Grove. They have 3 children and 2 grandchildren.
